Multilingual Central Repository 2.0: GRIAL

The project`s main goal is to establish a basic scientific-technological infrastructure to facilitate the coordination, integration and transference of technology and resources among research groups that currently develop semantic knowledge bases (wordnets). A new version of the Multilingual Central Repository (MCR) will be developed, this version will integrate new knowledge to the Spanish, Euskera, Catalan and Galician wordnets linked to the latest version of the English WordNet. Moreover existing tools and applications will be develop and update for the management and maintenance of the MCR so that the different resources that integrate it will be developed in a distributed but synchronise way. All resources and applications obtained as a result of this action will be free and accessible by any group involved in research. GRIAL is involved in the establishment of infrastructure and in updating and validating data.
