CLARIN – Common Language Resources and Techonology Infrastructure Network

The CLARIN project aims to offer resources to researchers in the fields of Humanities and Social Sciences in order to improve the identification, access to and use of existing linguistic resources in these areas of study and research. Linguistic resources are understood as any collection of specialized texts, dictionaries, terminological collections, ontologies, etc., and we will also consider any resource built to facilitate text processing and the analysis and use of this type of data. The center coordinating the project within the Spanish territories is the Pompeu Fabra University, through its IULA institute (Institut Universitari de Lingüística Aplicada). 32 countries are participating in the project.
